The Team

Catherine Lane

Catherine Lane

Head of PR

It’s my job to look strategically at our clients’ goals for their brand and then apply my knowledge of PR, the media and online communities to make sure that we deliver. The part of my job that I enjoy most is being able to provide a fresh perspective for our clients – and uncovering the best way to raise the profile of their brand. I also love keeping up to date with the ever changing nature of PR.

Before setting up the business, I worked both in-house and agency-side doing PR in the education and telecoms sectors. I split my time between France and the UK and so I can often be found at airports smuggling cheddar cheese into the land of camembert.

Chris Lane

Chris Lane

Head of Operations

I have a pretty varied role managing much of the business side of CLPR. I look after the financial and workload areas of the business, ensuring that we have the time, the skills and the training necessary to deliver what our clients will need both now and in the future. Before all this, my background was in retail business management and property development. What free time I have is spent running and finding new challenges.

Rebecca Bremner

Rebecca Bremner

Senior PR Consultant

I was the first official employee of the business in 2005. I work across a number of clients, managing accounts, implementing their PR plans and working hard to ensure they ride the news wave whenever a big story hits. My first foray into PR began promoting local rock bands and I never looked back. Before education and my short stint in music PR, I worked as a security cleared civil servant in the Hong Kong government but if I tell you anything about that – well, you know how the line goes. When not at work, I am invariably singing – I am the lead vocal in a covers band and love to be out gigging with them and supporting live music.

Adele Hawkes

Adele Hawkes

PR Consultant

After more than ten years working in PR and media planning, providing clients with great PR and delivering tangible results still brings a smile to my face! Before joining CLPR, I worked across a variety of sectors including lifestyle and finance, and my wider experience in marketing means I understand just how PR fits into the mix. Outside of work, I play with my children, read obsessively, talk myself out of going to the gym and cook huge quantities of food for friends.

Natasha North

Natasha North

PR Consultant

My focus is on achieving great coverage for our clients and the best part of my day is talking with journalists and bloggers. I am the company’s education blogger expert and spend a lot of my time researching what it is that makes them tick. My background in teaching helps me to think from a teacher’s perspective when developing PR ideas and writing for our clients in the education sector. Outside of work I like to run, play the piano and have fun with my kids.

Claire Bustin

PR Consultant

After working in Corporate Marcomms and PR for more than 20 years, I am currently known by my colleagues as ‘pitch queen’ which suits me well as I am never happier than when I am pitching stories and securing coverage for clients. I’ve worked across a variety of sectors including renewable energy, green transport, metals, luxury goods and education. I am also a Chartered Marketer, which gives me a broader view when looking at PR. In my free time, I love cooking and enjoying the outdoors with my family.

Julia Anthony

For the last ten years I have worked as a copywriter and one of the things I enjoy most about my job is listening to people who are passionate about what they do, and putting their thoughts into words. With a background in marketing in the IT, automotive and education sectors, I know how important it is to get the message spot on.

When I’m not working I love to paint (watercolours not walls), play tennis and whisk my family off on whirlwind tours of European cities.

We are also very proud to work with a team of gifted, hand-picked freelancers which include journalists, editors and social media experts.
